ADVOCATES FOR MAXIMIZING YOUR LIFE

DON’T WAIT TO TALK ABOUT HOSPICE – You plan every detail of a trip – except for the most important one you will ever take.  Think for a moment – when you are on your final journey, do you want to live free of pain, at home with your loved ones?  You can take steps now to make sure your wishes are honored.

People wait until they are in the midst of a healthcare crisis before thinking about what options are available or what care they or their loved ones want at the end of their life.

By waiting too long to learn about possible options, like hospice or palliative care, people end up spending difficult days in the hospital or emergency room and opportunities to be with loved ones are lost.

Loving Hearts has a compassionate team to help you receive the care you need – to stay in your home during your final days.

On an average, hospice adds 29 quality days to a person’s life.  After all, IT’S ABOUT HOW YOU LIVE!

Getting Hospice Started

Anyone can refer someone to hospice care or request information. With this in mind, getting hospice care started is a rather simple process. The earlier a person is referred, the more Loving Hearts can do to help. The patient and family receive the most benefit if they begin hospice services before they are in a crisis. Sadly, many people believe that hospice is unavailable or inappropriate until literally, the last days of a person’s life.
